The Pat Pallentino Best Networker Award
Pat Pallentino, known as the “Godfather of Sales,” was a strong believer in the power of networking. In his honor, ICSC will recognize the students who do the best job of building meaningful connections with employers during the ICSC Career Fair.
The Pat Pallentino Best Networker Award is open to all students attending ICSC, including competitors and alternates, and includes cash prizes for the top networkers.
How It Works
During the Career Fair, students should visit participating companies, engage in meaningful conversations, and make a strong professional impression. Each company will receive 20 votes to recognize students who stand out during the Career Fair. Companies may use their votes to identify the students they believe demonstrated the strongest networking skills.
At the conclusion of the Career Fair, votes from all participating companies will be tallied. The students who receive the most support across multiple companies will be considered for the Pat Pallentino Best Networker Award.
One important requirement: To be eligible to win, a student must also receive an endorsement from the company sponsoring the Pat Pallentino Best Networker Award. The sponsoring company may endorse an unlimited number of students.
In other words, winning isn’t about impressing just one employer. Students should make meaningful connections with as many companies as possible—and be sure to connect with the sponsoring company.
