The Sales and Client Management Internship is a 10-week paid program that will expose students to the insurance industry in a thoughtful and methodical way. Scheduled to begin in early June, the internship is targeted towards driven college seniors ready to explore a career in sales and client management.

During the 10-week program, interns will be immersed in our company’s culture. They will be appointed a manager and mentor who will assign meaningful, challenging project work that culminates in an end-of-summer presentation to key business leaders. The internship is designed around the full lifecycle of a Unum customer, from initial quoting/proposals, implementation/onboarding, and ongoing service.

Interns will have a productive and educational experience with full support from a variety of UNUM partners, including a sponsoring Manager, formal Mentor, Learning Consultant, and full Office support. Dependent on performance in program, they may have the opportunity to interview for full-time sales roles at the conclusion of the program.
